The Extrait de Parfum Oud Satin is highly concentrated sister of the eponymous Eau de Parfum. The fragrance is inspired by the sensual movements of noble oriental satin. The parfumer has combined dark and animalistic tones of natural oud from Laos with tender violet blossoms and noble roses from Bulgaria and Tuinsia, geranium, cinnamon from Ceylon and a very delicious amber and vanilla chord.

With this Oud Satin fragrance, the performance and longevity was not what I was expecting to be honest. In all honesty I bought this fragrance not having the faintest idea of what the scent profile was like, nor the scent DNA. Please don’t get me wrong, the scent does smell nice, but it’s not something I would go for, had I known what the scent profile was like. It is overwhelming for me, however, I am disappointed with the performance of this one. Off my skin I get about 4-5 hours of longevity but throughout the life of the scent, it sits closer to the skin, and has a weak projection. I am not really impressed by this scent, but I am glad to get to experience it though.
