    Firstly there is no other fragrance store that offers this level of service. My order was delivered within 24 hours – and I am in Verulam. Dark As Wood is meant to be a clone of Guerlain’s Bois d’Armenie, and it is outstanding which is why I purchased two bottles of this amazing fragrance. It is vanilla, iris and incense blended to perfection. Smooth, creamy. Nothing heavy at any point during the wear. It would suit more upscale situations; even those important business meetings. Ideally for autumn, winter and spring – I think Dark As Wood may be too cloying for our South African summer days, although it should be fine for evenings. This is luxury, sophistication and sexiness in a bottle. Easily one of my best fragrance purchases of 2023.
